Dorisarty

Dorisarty is a collective of three local women, Claire Burgoyne, Christine Hayhurst and Anne Pettenuzzo.  Claire and Anne have exhibited together over the last three years and on each  occasion we have been joined by friends. This time we are happy to welcome Christine as a new member of our collective.  Dorisarty is so called because Doris is a sea goddess and all three of us have a strong connection with the sea. The name Doris has suffered pejorative use in certain quarters and we wished to reclaim and celebrate it.  The Dorisarty Collective aims to  encourage the practice of and participation in art across the community. This event showcases our most recent work.
